    Hi Priya,

    As per my knowledge no need of special pooja , but ,this to be included with daily puja procedure , giving aarathi, dupa,depa, prasadam for the kamadenu Idol gives you good result .

    I sugest when ever you find cow at any place try to feed it giving some food item that eats. if that is not possiable give one athma namaskara

    I am still in process of translating into english , sorry for the delay . I will try to get it soon.

    Hello Madhuri garu thanks for information provided by you , I visited one temple there i found a cow picture along with cow mahatyam ..

    The attachment is not having full information it seems , whee we will get this go mahtyam in full, please guide me ..

    Yes, Cow is beleived to be a sacred animal by Hindus. And it is said that among all animals cows are the most kind beings who never know any cunning gimmicks. They also say that the sages, all Gods and the holy rivers reside in their body. Hence we need to workship cows.

    I have read about this in many books. Whenever we find a cow, we can feed them. And if not atleast bless them. This way we accumulate some punyas as we are blessing all Gods and rivers.
    Try to be kind with them.
