Hi,

I am about 6 weeks pregnant. just had a blood test this saturday and found out that my beta count not doubling. It was doubling till last tuesday the count was 1533. but when we repeated the test after 4 days on saturday it was only 2080. Progestrone is rising, its 19. it was 14.5 on my first test and then i took progestrone supplement. I am so much worried now. I had a miscarriage in last February 07 for the same case- beta count not doubling.. but at the time, it was rising very slowly it got upto 1200 only and then i miscarried. But we saw heartbeat for that!! dont know whats wrong with me....anyone have gone through this? anybody know whats the reason for this beta count not doubling? I have an ultra sound and blood test scheduled for thursday... Please pray for me.

Hi Sita,

Please do not worry. We all at indusladies will pray for you. Please don't get tensed and spoil your health. Try to be relaxed. If this will help, my friend had two miscarriages and then carried twins and successfully delivered them last month.

If it has happened once, it doesn't mean it will happen again that way for you.

Have faith. I will definitely include you in my prayers.

Once again need your help. My friend's blood test report was given today. It shows HCG as 89,674. She must be 6-7 weeks.

Is it positive and correct level?

Can some one throw me light about week by week value of Beta HCG(in blood) that is present in pregnant women?

Yes thats positive.. And her leves look good to me.. She must be between 6-7 weeks pregnant.

Lee, Her check up was over this morning and she found the doc comfortable and things went on fine...
So, i think thats the end of her fear and anxiety story!!
P.S:- SHe doesnt have net at home and work.
