Mouth ulcer during pregnancy

Hi ladies,

I am now 11 weeks and for the last 2 days I have a mouth ulcer just on the left side of my tongue. Cant speak properly. I garggled with salt water, buttermilk and also applied anbesol gel on the affected area but its still there.

This morning when I was applying the gel I felt very giddy and had to lie down for sometime. Tomorrow a midwife is coming home to see me. Is it enough if I tell her and get her opinions or should I book an appointment with my GP.

Is there any medication for mouth ulcers. I havent had a this big mouth ulcer especially on the side of my tongue and I am strugling to talk properly.

Any ideas would help!

one home remedy for mought ulcer is apply ghee,even if it does not work try with coconut oil and even if it does not work try with custard powder,either if the one should work.do give feed back.

Thanks for your reply. I tried coconut oil yesterday about 3 times. I also tried coconut milk. Looks like the ulcer is quite big .. So maybe I should try this for some more days.

I will keep you posted.
