    Hello Everyone-

I would like to know how much weight you have put out on when you were pregnant.

Did you deliver a large baby because you have gained more than the recommended weight?

I have 6 more weeks to go but I have already reached the recommended weight gain for my height and weight.

    Hi Sima,
Weight gain is vry important thing throughout the pregnancy. But that gain should be under control. A KG a month is acceptable and required. On an avg 9-2 KGs of gain is very good. Your weight gain sometimes may not result in baby's gain. Weightgain doesn't prmose you a large baby. So, enjoy your pregnancy with all your favourites.

    All the very best.

You can put on anywhere between 15-30lbs or 13 kgs during your pregnancy and yes,all that does not result in a big baby.

For my first pregnancy ,I put on about 13-15 kgs,but baby was a mere 2.58 kgs only.

For my second pregnancy,I put on 15 lbs only(since I was already over-weight) and baby was 7.6 lbs.
