Need help - Maternity hospital in Whitefield, Old airport road, Bangalore

    hi,

    I am in my 4th month and planning to move back to Bangalore in 2 months. Can somebody help me out with a good doctor and hospital preferably around Whitefield or near old airport road please?
    I prefer normal delivery as i have a very good gut feel about it. Any help here would be of great help as I have no much clue about Bangalore doctors.

    Hi Swarnashree,

    I stay in bangalore and delivered a girl baby here in 2013. And it was a normal delivery. I consulted Dr.Vijaya Manohar in Appollo,Koramangala. Since we were staying in Ejipura, it was closeby for us. I delivered in Cradle,Koramangala. It was a very nice hospital. And the doctor is very experienced and such a caring lady.

    hi Devi,

    Thank you so much for your reply. However Koramangala is quite far for me as i stay in Whitefield near to ITPL. Do you or any of your friends know a good doctor who encourage normal delivery may be around old airport road or Indranagar?

    I am also from bangalore and pregnant. We stay near by krpuram. I used to go to meghana maternity hospital near by hoodi. earlier the doc got so many negative reviews, but my personal experience is she's very nice and talks normally. i am in my 7th month now and till now i went there only and so far i was satisfied, we also decided that my delivery will be there only. the hospital is pretty neat, new and affordable. but i had to come to my home town as my hubby went on onsite. you may try these hospitals

    meghana maternity - hoodi circle - affordable - doc sharada is good.

    cloudnine - whitefield - expensive but has good doctors. they opened a new branch in whitefield area opposite to prestige.

    motherhood - indiranagar - expensive but has got best doctors and so many positive reviews.

    I delivered at Cloudnine, Old Airport Road, Dr. Praveena Shenoy. Hospital is expensive but then every good birthing centre is costly:) I'd have a normal delivery

    I heard Praveena Shenoy doesnt enocurage normal delivery at late nights, what was your experience?

    @swarnashree9 : Since you stay at Whitefield, your best option with minimum travel time would be Columbia Asia near brook fields. MOst of the doctors there are pretty good to what I have heard from my friends who consult there.

    There are quiet good hospitals near whitefield...
    Columbia Asia, Apollo Cradle, Cloudnine...
    U can try any of these.....
