Dink Ladoo..is it safe during early pregnancy

    Dear Ladies

    I visited a traditional shop near my Dr's place and bought a packet of "Dink" (edible gum/ gondh..?) Ladoos....I think it has poppy seeds, dry coconut and nuts as main ingredient

    while the shop keeper told me its good for pregnancy during winters, my MIL is o f the opinion that it causes heat and is more suitable after delivery..ie. for Lactation

    Can someone please advise...

    Hi SSM,

    For some reason my mom dint allow me to eat gondh ladoo during pregnancy but after delivery for 15 days i was eating that as my main course for breakfast :) Wat your MIL says is true.

    Hmm...I doubted as much...Delicious laddoos will now go down my DH and FIL..
