Saffron for pregnancy to buy from US or India?

I'm 4 months pregnant now.Planning to take saffron from 5th month. Where can I get quality Saffron (from US or India)? If in US can u name some stores where i can get branded saffron. Plz advice.

I will be watching this thread. As till today I have always bought Saffron in India but if I can buy here then I would Like to know too.

I buy Spanish saffron from Traders Joe. Heard that it is good.

Most Indian grocery stores carry it, try whole foods.....their products are usually of very good quality.

I usually brought saffron from Whole foods for desserts...That is really good quality

Saffron from kashmir is really very good.I have tried spanish as well as iranian but d quality and aroma of saffron from kashmir is great :thumbsup. I took it in my previous pregnancy and it helped me alot for digestion and may be color of the baby 2(My daughter is fairer than me )...
