    Even I heared from my MIL the same when I was a pregnant. But I like the smell of hing, so I used to have very very little in my sambar especially.

    thank you priyamommy.yes me too love it a lot but i got most of the symptoms too its terrific hence i am avoiding these days as i am pregnant at present.

    I have been using hing in almost all the dishes until now and am 7 months pregnant. Now am worried, nobody told me this. :-(
