I am at a loss of words to express how I feel.

Shanti - It was very very very sweet of you to start this thread. You did such a great thing and you didn't even mention about it to me. You are just too sweet. My thankyous are just not adequate for you. My mother is discharged from the hospital now and is out of the danger zone. She has to go for dialysis treatment thrice a week. My mom was too much into bhajans and pujaas and temple visits that it would be very difficult to get hold of her at home, so now being in bed all the time is very depressing for her. We are looking for a donor to get the kidney transplant done, but as there are a lot of scandals going on in India about organ donation, it is getting very difficult. All our family members are ruled out because of mismatch in blood group. But all the same, she is coping up very well with the situation. We are still praying for her and hoping that we will get a donor soon.

Mrs. Chitvish - Thanks for being there for all of us like a godmother always. We look up at you for courage, encouragement and support. I apologise for not being able to meet up with you when I was in Chennai. They were crazy days. I extended my trip three times and finally my mom insisted that I leave to join my husband. It was the luckiest day of my life when I made that pineapple rasam and decide to thank you for it and established contacts with you.

Malathy - If not for you all this would not have happened. Hats off to you for starting this wonderful forum. Life is just so good for many of us after we discovered this forum.

Shanthi, you are right. A healthy mind for a healthy body. We can't protect ourself from suffering always. But we do have the potential to heal and enjoy the bliss of recovery, may it be physical or mental pain.

Praying is a task; what happens to the prayer is dependant on the Grace of God.

Joining all of you in your prayers every day and for the well being of all:
A prayer that I learn't from my prayer book and I love it.

This body is the residence of God. The food you take is the offering you make to Him. The ground you walk on is His domain. The joy you gain is the gift. The grief you experience is His lesson. Remember Him ever, in sun and rain, day and night, asleep and awake.
