| Hi Aish, Couple of methods to handle postpartum depression. 1) If you are feeling overwhelmed with the baby get help to take care of the baby. 2) Develop a good circle of friends. 3) Learn yoga and pranayama from a very good teacher. 4) Practice meditation/kriyas. The Sudarshan Kriya from Art of Living program is helping me a lot. 5) Network with other mommies with babies in the same age group as yours. 6) I did not find anti-depressants or marital counseling very helpful. I am speaking from personal experience and my statement might not be representative. I hope this helps. Thanks, Kavya. |
