    Hi,

My friend has 8 month old baby. Is it safe to do skipping rope exercise? Will the uterus be still weak 8 months after child birth?

    Thanks,

    Uthra,

I don't think the utreus will be weak after 8 months of delivery, provided she has had a normal safe delivery.

But before starting any exercise routine post pregnancy, it's better to get yourself checked up from your Gyno, so that she can give you a clear picture about your health & body.

    Hi,

i think it is better consult a gyno before starting on any exercise... I started going for walks when my daughter was 2 mths old and gradually built it up to jogs and mild stretches at abt 8 mths and started with strength training at 1 yr.... since it was a c-section the dr had told me to take it slow and listen to my body.... that is exactly what i would suggest.... listen to ur body... and of course the dr....
