Is it safe to use an year old sanitary pads?

    Hello Ladies,

    This is a common problem among ladies. I bought a pack of sanitary pads and soon after buying it, I got pregnant so there was no need to make use of those. After 10 months, am planning to make use of it.

    I'm not sure if there is any expiry date for pads.

    Can we make use of it? Any idea ladies.

    I don't thinl expiry date is mentioned on pads
    It should be usable for at least two years. I couldn't help smiling at your first comment. I also brought two big pack of sanitary pads and that was the month I conceived. I gave those packs to my sis. So brought new ones now .

    You can definitely use it. Most of sanitary pads are usable for upto 2yrs from the MFG date.
    EXpiry date is also mentioned on the back of cover.

    I don't see any expiry date ladies. I have always ultra thin with me .. Just 10 of them are left out. ..

    Hi I got into the same confusion as I also got pregnant after buying big stashes ( We had some fair going on on which i got these with 50% off). I used it after my delivery for the bleeding and didnt feel any problem. So I guess, if the packet is not opened yet, it wont be a prob. But if the packet is opened already better do not use it, as an Infection will the last thing you need at tht moment.

    Mine is already opened and used with 10 left overs.. I feel bad to throw that out but worried about an infection too!
