When I read in newspaper about a man forcing himself on a small baby,... a two year old baby girl, I couldn't control my tears. So these lines came out from my helplessness. Whether it is moonlight or dark night Whether it is sunlight or twilight Whether it is behind four walls or road side Whether it is low tide or high tide Whether it is mall or a cinema hall Whether it is a park or a space too dark Whether it is airport or a bus stop It may be station or any mansion Hey uncles, cousins, brothers Husbands and strangers Listen O man she can be a baby, A girl, adult or a senior She is Shakti THE WOMAN do you hear Cherish her don't let her wither Trying to enter her space and degrading Her modesty by touch, gesture, word or force Is a crime, a disgrace and is coarse Touching her without her consent is rape A rape is a rape...no excuse
@padmaja909 : Very good poem, may be it can be published in newspaper or posted on Facebook or other social networks, to bring more awareness. God should only do some instant miracle in punishing such people then and there, so a permanent change happens.
:thankyou2: thankyou @Arunarc, @adisum, @Soch, @Lathasv, @kaniths, @Poetlatha for liking my small poem and giving feedback
