I saw them both yet another time. One moved faster than the other. Reluctant a bit most of the times, The shorter one moved too rather. The longer one reflected some men Who just change as and when required. The shorter, resembled me close but then At least moved faster than what I desired. Sitting there and watching them both, I looked back at the photo of mine. And reflected that not much of growth In mind occurred, hence I didn't shine. I still see that lonely kid who is Finding it hard to accept things anew. I still feel for tears shed by those Eyes before and after without a cue. These two that I described at first Always have that displacement. Yes. And its always forward and suits best Instead of losing self in the past. With merciless movements they cross, Hours, days, months and many years. Missing them causes such a great loss, That I can never make up, I fear!
Good one again Rgs, velocity and displacement both are proportional in the same way things won't change if one stays in the past as they start moving with time....... Happy Dusserha Buddy!
Thanks KishoreG for your appreciation and a physics feedback [I liked it. In fact one of the first questions we faced in class 11 then - If I walk in a circular path and come back to where I started, what is the distance and what is the displacement?]. Happy Dussehra to you too buddy! -rgs
yh buddy one of the basic problem.......if am correct displacement will be zero (since its the shortest path one can choose) :hide:remember seeing these sort of questions in CAT/XAT also....
Displacement is a vector and distance is a scalar. And as you mentioned, for a complete circular path traversed, displacement will be zero. Kudos! Cool! -rgs
Yeah, I got, displacement posses both direction and magnitude, whenever you write something it carries me back to the basic stuff which I enjoyed solving very much in those days.........
In fact thats the idea buddy. I am writing more on a personal note to connect different things, so I can remember them for a long time as well. I am far away from my main stream now! What we read is not what we use now in our jobs! Thanks for another feedback. -rgs
good one, no wonder! yor writings are as radiant as the candle-lit face with the kajal(AVATAR Picture) the academics exchange btn the 2 of you enlightened my dormant physics. wish u both could teach maths/physics (basics atleast) online like this. that was a good one, right?
Thanks for the appreciation Kalpavriksham. And I am delighted to know that this evoked your interest. Coming to your last line - I don't know how to respond! Are you asking whether my post was good? Besides, there is something subtler here - Though the clock hands always move in a circle the displacement is huge - passage of time in our lives. Thats what I intended and thought of displacement as a better word to use, as the clock moves only forward [direction]. Sorry if this explanation is unnecessary for you. -rgs
oh rgs, the interpretation of the clockwise rotation of the hand of the clock---WOW! just fantastic. iwas wondering as to what happened to all my interpretation skills. i was supposed to view one line in so many different angles?! may be old age? other things dominate the life, perhaps. anyhow thanks a lot for making me re-live mystudent's days. my last line of my previous FB refers to the online teaching of yours.
