First Day at College!!

    Like a freshly bloomed flower,
    Bathed in a fresh shower,
    Crossing the traffic at the mad rush hour,
    Landed in front of the college tower.

    Missing old buddies and pals,
    Eager to meet some new guys and gals,
    Overjoyed on seeing known faces,
    Similar feelings can be seen in all the places,

    Masking the scare of ragging,
    Shielding the sound of my heart fast beating,
    Showing the zeal to learn different something,
    Embracing a whole chapter of life which seems exciting.

    A strong bond will be formed
    with all of us together,
    memories will be etched
    which we will cherish forever.

    With full of energy
    Also Vigor in plenty,
    I Will make my parents proud
    On my first day I Vowed!!

    Very nice Angelin. GG's comment reflects the general perception of docs and engineers as drab people buried in their subject of study and work. But believe me, I have seen a lot of really inspired, creative minds in those fields too. All the best for your college days. :-D
