I may not listen to you, But I can’t function without you. I may have ignored your words, But I have never gone against you. I might be lazy, I might be dumb, But thought; you will take care of it. I might be disobedient, I might be stubborn, But thought; I can be myself only with u. And you can also be harsh and loud on me, But promise you console me if I cry!!! how many of us accept our dear ones as they are??? Not many..we crib, we complain, we throw temper tantrums..aren't we??? Have we ever thought for a minute about our lives without them? :drowning when they becomes indispensable in our lives, why dont learn to live accepting them as they are... we always break a glass, later mend it, still cry seeing cracks on them..rather lets be cautious in not breaking them at all...:cheers
First it sounds as if talking with our inner conscience. I can't catch it correctly. However the poem is written well Ramavyasarajan

Hey Neetu...like having skeletons in the closet this poem of yours seems have been tucked away in 2010 :tongue ...good one...sweet and true :thumbsup
Dear Neetu, Simple yet wonderful one.. How true, if only we develop the maturity to accept others as they are, relationships would be more sweeter. After all, changes outside happen with the changes inside you. Lovely one Neetu! -- Appu
