My loving you still,
Is the talk of the town,
I know that I love you more
Today than I did long ago..
Do you know that dear?

I wish you could see
What I see when I see you,
You make me stop breathing,
Simply being you is amazing,
Do you know that dear?

It is just the way you know
To do the simple things you do,
Making my heart melt like,
the snow, that’s kissed by sunshine,
Do you know that dear??

I sometimes dare to dream,
Hoping things happen the way I like,
Wishing to spend days with you,
Fighting and making up as usual,
Do you know that dear?

The going gets harder sometimes,
I walk through it in a breeze,
Your motivation plays in my head,
Making me stand tall and strong,
Do you know that dear??

My life found a new meaning,
With the missing link to my soul,
To flow through my blood
And beat along with my heart
Do you know that dear??

Love does become stale,
With the trying ways of
Realities of life people say,
But mine for you grows stronger,
Still feels as fresh as the morning dew,
As pure as the melting snow.

I would like to just tell you Dear, there are few thing sin life, which you need not have to tell.... We can fell it... sense it... and understand it... That is what Love is all about...

WOW what a poem. Looks to me you have poured your heart and soul into this beautiful poem. I too wanted to write one for my husband for our anniversary and I am still stuck without even starting.
Reading yours I could only think of my husband and felt the words were mine.. Oh..oh..
Truly a delight and I lived through each and every word of this poem.

you took the cake with your very very simple lines. Your response is exactly like my husbands. He too feels action speaks louder than words and I agree. When I am tired he brings me coffee and with that warm touch helps me start a day which no amount of silly words can do.
I have always told me and shan are alike and you and my dh the same!

Good poem. But it made me think. If you really want her/him to "know that", then you should never let him read this poem. If s/he reads this, s/he will surely never know. Words are a barrier to love. Seek it in her/his eyes.
