எது அழகு

என்றோ ஒரு நாள் எது அழகு என்று
எனக்குள் ஒரு பட்டிமன்றம் எழுந்தது

விண்ணிலிருந்து பால்மழை பொழியும்
வெண்ணிலவுப் பெண்ணா

தன் கிரணங்களால் உலகை ஒளிர்விக்கும்
தன்னிகரில்லாக் கதிரவனா

பொன்மாலைப் பொழுதில் நம் மேனியைப்
பூவாசத்தோடு தழுவும் பூந்தென்றலா

கண்சிமிட்டும் விண்மீனா கடலலையா
கானகத்துக் குயில்களின் கானமா
கலாப மயிலின் கவின்மிகு நடனமா

எது அழகு எது அழகு என்று நான்
எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கையிலே ............

சின்னதாய் ஒரு பஞ்சுப் பொதி என் முதுகில் பதிய
சிலிர்த்துத் திரும்பினேன் ... என் ஒரு வயதுச் செல்ல மகள் ...

அனைத்தையும் ஒருசேரக் கண்டேன் அவள் உருவில் !
தாவி அணைத்தேன் - தனக்குள் சொன்னேன் :
" இதுதான் அழகு ! "

கவிதை பொங்குகிறதே - அதுவும்
