Is Money Making Me Crazy Honey??

Hi Devika,

Great poem again......i felt it was full of vigour and loved the last lines.......
......So come lets have Fun.....what are we waiting for! .........All this high spirits from me, since SUN is out and it is daylight till 11 in the night......so where is the time to run after Money( i will leave it anyway to hubby!) and i will have all the FUN! he he .........
Great penning.....thanks for giving something on lighter vein but with a lot of depth too!

Great topic ......reminded me of that famous song by the Swedish group "ABBA" ( which broke up years ago ) "Money ,money money........it's a rich man's world".
The mad race or rush has been there since the beginning of time and the speed of the runners of this race has almost caught up with the speed of lightning and this is where poems like yours will do their bit to warn us to apply the breaks and pause a while, take deep breaths , smell a couple of blooms ,enjoy their fragrance,feel the wind in your hair ,watch the clouds glide softly and such likes !!

Hey DM,

Money definitely makes lot crazy. They forget to enjoy being themselves, they miss being loving parents sometimes.

When the times comes to sum up and analyze, they question themselves, Was it Worth it???

I believe, you need money to live, but money is not everything. So live life as it is to be lived, to the fullest, so you do have any regrets later...

So very true what u say, in such wonderul words and rhyme.That we run after money, and dont enjoy life.Loved it.

Let me add a few lines,




Life is not about only Money,
For your good health drink milk mixed with Honey,


Don’t spend your life hoarding Cash,
Instead spend some, and have more Aish,


You live like a miser all your life,
Not caring about the basic needs of your wife,


Cant u get it into your stupid Head,
What will u do with all that money, when you are Dead.
