music of the sea

Without your encouraging feedbacks, i would never have attempted again....so now you are the reason for my coming back here with my scribblings....

MUSIC OF THE SEA

Far off near the horizon
as the sun is painting the sky
I see few bobbing heads..
I wonder are they mermaids..
Listening to the music played by the sea....

listen to the music, with a serene mind,
the tales of beauty and hidden secrets
of the fearless nature and the tireless pursuits
and inner strength.


The beautiful sea with a mind of her own,
hitting the shore with her foamy waves,
i wonder why...
is she trying to clean the shore
because we have forgotten to ..
Or is she giving us
a mild warning, beware,
or i will take back what is mine....

Are you like ten women posting in one ID? Great poem. I love the sea, and as you have written its inner strength. My husband is working is a maritime industry and we actually revere the sea since it is our bread and butter, annadaatha. So, your poem is especially special to me. Great work, post more.
