Elegy to an "Old Friend"

    I had a friend who was very dear
    I cannot say she was a friend mere
    She shared my life
    My joys my sorrows
    And gave me hope for every morrow.

    My friend was simple, sweet and nice
    And oh she had many a wise advice
    But I know not what suddenly came over her
    She decided to go for a complete make over

    My friend came back late this evening
    I looked at her as the door she was opening
    Oh, was I totally thrown off guard
    To recognize my old friend it was so hard

    She looked all new, so glamorous and mod
    And add to that she had an attractive bod
    I know it will certainly take me some time
    To recognize in this new bottle the familiar old wine

    But I know that this is the same old friend
    Who will be with me to the very end
    She will share with me my sorrows and joys
    And give to my thoughts a brand new voice.

    How important is our friend is to us!!!!! New make over is little difficult to get adjust. But if the friend has the same wonderful quality, I shouldn't complain. Enjoy the new "LOOK"

    HHA even i was taken off guard today when ui opened, and this new friend, is like a chic dame eh ! The features are damn good, u know i have an eye for pretty females , and pretty formats too.HAHA.

    and a superb poem that was, i know u compose it very fast, but u are an underrated poet, damn good one.

    Ohhhh Satchi, that was real quick, my little poet. I hope so too. Right now, I am totally lost but the optimist that I always am, I hope to navigate my way through. I am not so sure about the chick dame, kamalji. for we are all trying to grow old gracefully here and total makeovers can be quite a shock, you see.... (OMG!!! Where are the emoticons??? LOL)

    That was a very nice poem on IL's new look.
    She looks cute and glamorous. It is only we who have to get use to her new looks, and the new changes into her.
    Change is always good in ones life:) isn't it.
