I have a highly energetic 21-m-o at hand. I am a work at home mom (well, I try to, pinky swear) and have not got into the acitivity centre/play school/or even kindergarten scene yet and keep wondering if I am missing the bus?
Anyways, I would so love for lill K to work off his excess energies. He is such a joy to be around when all his needs are met, but when he has this bundle of energy tucked away at some unreachable recess, he gets to be a handful - tantrums, throwing things, etc.
Long story short, what kind of programmes are available in the city for toddlers, are they all full-time daycare/preschool kind of scene? Are there any play gyms! trampolines, jumperoos, climbing thingies. Will the establishments let the parent pick the programme for the child (going by the LO's temperament, say.)
I am all ears on this. Thanks for any insight.

Guess you have already been to The Vannila Place ( Learnt from your previous posts). My boy is 13 months and am thinking of taking him to Vannila for the toddler programme. Do you think i should wait for couple of more months to understand, learn and enjoy the activities there?

Ramya, I have not done their toddler programmes other than musical beans.
I have no idea what their gym is like? As far as musical beans goes, I would say wait until your child is ready to comprehend what the instructor is talking about. He does not have to repeat- it is not a do what you're asked to do programme, but it would help if he could comprehend! Looks like VP is quite popular here

Which area do you live in. Have you tried Baby's Day Out in Chamier's Road. Have a look at their website. They have trampoline and ball pen and other play stuff. My SIL used to take her 3 yr old there quite often.
