    June 5th is the World Environment Day. A day that stimulates awareness of the environment !! It’s a global day for a positive environmental action.

    The photo contest for the month of June 2011 is…


    World Environment Day Photo Contest​


    The themes for the 'World Environment Day' Photo contest are,

    • Mother Nature at risk
    • Forests
    • Green Earth
    • Pollution in your area/city
    The picture should best symbolizes the beauty and destruction of our environment. Spice up your picture with an attractive caption.

    How do I participate in this contest?

    To participate in this contest, post the picture in your public album. Then provide the link in this thread to the pictures posted in your public album.

    Note:
    • An IL-ite cannot post more than 3 Pictures.
    • Please do not to post any personal photographs and do not post the same photo you had used for earlier contests.
    • No copy-pasting pictures from other sources (like websites, books, magazines, emails etc.).
    • This Contest ends on 25th, June 2011.

    I like to tell my IL friends to plant a sapling during festivals, anniversaries and birthdays and maintain these saplings.We can also gift our friends and relatives a sapling during their birthdays and weddings.

    I have a question...
    Are these different topics all together, I mean can we just nominate any forest pix under the category Forests, or should be related to mother nature at risk???
    Similarly should green earth be a part of mother nature at risk or any greenery pix of our planet??

    Hope I make sense.. sorry if it to silly a question :-(
