Dear All, I am relatively new to IL. I stay in west Delhi, a die heart animal lover and volunteer for stray animals especially dogs near to my place. I have been feeding a dog family past 1.5 year. The family which has around 20 members has welcomed five new puppies recently. The puppies are more then 1.5 months old now. Stable & self sufficient. very Very cute, smart puppies with super IQ. Since I am observing their activities for long, I can say both the mothers are also very intelligent and so are their tiny ones. They are black, brown, grey, and one is spotted with white & brown on her back. If any one planning to bring a puppy home these puppies can be a very good option. I can assure you they being very affectionate with excellent IQ. I have a long experience of having pets and training them. I can vouch that stray dogs are equally or sometimes even far more intelligent then most of the pedigree breeds. Also it is very easy to tame them (not very specific and luxury care is needed) as they are generally rough & tough and a minimum basic care can help them survive perfectly. My message to everyone is - Giving food and shelter to stray animals is worth of any big POOJA and DAAN. Help stray animals and God will help you and your near & dear ones. I can also upload some pics of them if some body is really interested.

Hi Viny,
What a noble person you are! So happy that the little homeless creatures have a great soul like you to watch over them and take care of them. My little kitten used to be a stray.. and we adopted him a year ago. It was the best decision we ever.. he brings us so much happiness. I could gush about him for hours..
God bless!

Re: Bring smart cute puppies with excellent IQ home.
Dear Paulina & Mrs.V, Thank you so much for boosting the morale. Good part of the story is, one of them is adopted and the sad part is two are crashed under a car. Remaining two are happily growing up. They are called as Blacky and spotty. They consider me as one of the dog family they can trust, play and come close to ( he he). They wait for my offerings around 6 PM (after I leave from work) in the evening at a particular place everyday without any hiatus. It’s going very busy, still I will surly take some pics as soon as I get time to take and upload for all you guys. I wish anyone can come out to take them home. They are really adorable…….

Re: Bring smart cute puppies with excellent IQ home.
Dear Viny: Stray mongrels cannot be domesticated like pure breed dogs. Just like you can domesticate a rabbit but not a hare. There genes are different. They must have a free run outside your house to mix with other dogs, run about and bark up to the moon. As they grow up they could be a nuisance to neighbors or those passing by your house. While in NOIDA, we had kept one on finding it coming to our gate very night when my husband returned from work who used to then feed it. One of its legs was broken. One day we took it to a municipal hospital where its leg was plastered and for this reason had to be kept inside the house. Our Spitz male tolerated it so long it was a puppy and behaved well. However, on growing up it wanted a free run outside the house and if not allowed would tear the house apart. At this our Spitz pet started attacking it too and we had to leave the stray dog behind on my husband’s transfer.
