morning shel,

great info about small dog breeds.

as we plan to adopt a pet, which breed of small dogs is most friendly, easily manageable , wont shed much hair etc?

i have a 7 year old son who is very keen to have a pet & 80 year old father-in-law who is an asthamatic patient & dislikes dogs/cats may be pets in general.

i have liking towards havanese, beagle & yorkie breeds may be labrador too. but i heard that maintaining a lab is a bit difficult.

kindly advise me in this regard

thank u

rajee

Thank you Rajee for dropping in.
Most of the dogs will become our friends easily. Easily manageable? In what way? They are like us. We have to feed him, have to play with him, have to give him proper vaccine, have to bathe him. All these things should be done. Then its easily manageable.
As your FIL has asthma, better consult your doctor before adopting a pet. Because any dog or cat will definitely shed hair.
Yes, Labarador needs extra care and they require regular grooming. But they are very friendly to us. ( Brushing its teeth too )
Other than that you can try Pug.
