i am from hyderabad and am looking for a pet , as i stay in a flat i wish to have a pet that can be easily managed. It will be great if any one can help me with it.

Contact Blue Cross in ur city.

They have a lot of pets needing a loving home.

Dear NVS,

If you are staying in a flat then it is best you look for a cat or love birds. Dogs are a little difficult to manage in a flat.

I just met somebody who has got herself a guinea pig and she is so happy with it!!

Hi Dear,
Its good that you want a friend for your family. Welcome to the gang. I would say first decide which pets you like you have so many choices like fish, love birds, parrot, cat, small dogs. Which one do you like. They all are managable in small home and flats if you train them well.

Dear NVS,

The first thing you need to do is check your appartment asscociation rules and regulations. Find out if you are allowed to keep pets.If you are looking for a good breed then I suggest contact a vet. they normally have clients whose dogs have littered.

But if you are not too particular and if any breed would do then I suggest adopting a puppy from Blue Cross since you are in Hyderabad.

Also please remember that having pets in appartments is not as easy as doing it in an independant house. Most animals need their space. As long as you can take them out atleast twice a day it;s great.

Hi NVS,

I noticed you posted this message in July. Did you manage to get a pet ? I have some experience in searching for a pet (Dog) in Hyderabad. I have had some really bad experiences dealing with dog brokers and puppy mill owners etc. It was quiet disheartening to see how people would let these innocent beings alone for the sake of money. However, i did find some good dog owners/sellers , who are dog lovers.Infact i brought a puppy home.

Since you also live in flat i can tell you the pros and cons of having a dog in a flat.
