hey make sure u back up all teh information u have on system first
and make sure u have operating system cd and drivers cd with u
insert cd and then boot thru cd and start installation
which computer do u have by the way is it custom made or dell/hp/ltoshiba sumthin?

1. Backup any important files in C: Drive (Includes Desktop, My Documents)
2. Check you have Driver CD for your PC/Laptop, if not go to manufactures website and download atlest Graphic, sound, network drivers and burn to a disc.
3. Check your OS installation disk is not corrupt/scratched, because it can stop responding between the installation.
4. Analyse you have enough time to do the job - require 2-3 hours.
