Which browser do you use and why?

If you are using Internet Explorer, can you share any lesser known tips and tricks that can make browsing faster and easier?

If you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer, can you share your thoughts on why you switched? That way, other members can also learn and use the optimal web browser:)

Interesting poll !

Usually I use Internet Explorer, you can say it has mainly become a habit rather than choice.

Occassionally , I do use firefox, when there is some problem in the Internet explorer..but my choice is for the IE.

As for apple, I've seen my children use it in their laptops, which is very cool as you pointed out :). They seem to easily switch over from apple & internet explorer with ease.

Mozilla Fire Fox is the best browser for me.. It gives u lot of best options like add ons and this one cool feature like synchronizing helps me a lot to put all my fav @ one place.. and one more is X-Ray option in FF...

I used to use IE long back but not now, its taking time lots of time to load...
And very rarely i also use Netscape Navigator..

i use ie and firefox.
but mozila is better and fast gives gud security 2

We have IE and Firefox on our computer.But we only use Firefox because of its speed.IE is extremely slow on our computer when compared to Firefox.

Firefox all the way... Much faster and reliable than the Internet Explorer..

Though IE is the standard browser of Windows, i am really bugged by its slowness and it closes abruptly without any reason and the message "Internet Explorer encountered a problem and needs to close" . Not the type of software for which i would pay license money.

I feel most people use it because it comes bundled up with windows.
