Which Virus Protection s/w is most effective?

I've been using Kaspersky for a while now, and before then, I used Norton for 3 years. According to me, even those viruses that cannot be deleted by Norton are handled by Kaspersky antivirus. Norton only quarantines those files.

Am using McAfee, installed full version. It works best for me!!

Also defragment ur sys atleast every forthnight.. this helps in making ur sys work little bit faster.. Also wen u plug any pendrive, cd, dvd, ur mobile, handycam or digi cam just scan for virus first..

Note any antivirus which is installed with license code works well.. hope this useful to u..

I have been using AVG. Its free version is available in download.com. Its protects only against virus. But if you want protection against spyware, you can try ad-aware etc.

I dunno abt Kaspersky, but previously i used zonealarm firewall and it was sooo good.. but i felt it tends to make the system to be slow, uses too much of the resources.
