I'm new to Chennai and I normally stitch my saree blouses in my native place in Kerala. Their fitting is so good that I don't have to try it before actually wearing it on the function day. For that i didn't mind paying them 350 per blouse. So please let me know the place where they do a good job and I don't have to go for trials, alterations etc.
It would be easier if you mentione where are you located in Chennai!
I'm not sure if you are in Chennai Central area, but I've heard the tailor Her Choice opposite Narada Gana Sabha (Alwarpet) is supposed to be good and I think they charge Rs.400 for basic simple blouse, more for lining blouse and the extra for embroidery/fancy handwork on the blouses.
If you can go to adyar check this tailoring unit - Vasthra - 9884195130..Perfect stitching..bit expensive...Charges 350 for designer blouses..Not sure about ordinary blouses...She is too from Kerala ..Hope it would be convenientfor you to converse...Her name is Jessi is suppose..Very sweet and cute lady..Tell my name hope she remembers..i am stictching for the past 3-4 years...Bit costly so i go for costly clothes alone...Always rush will be there so better call her and reach there...It is in Gandhinagar exactly
vastra has recently shifted to a bigger premesis on 4th main road gandhi nagar( opp vidya mandir school).its 2 buildings away from the exsisting place. u r right cinduja,jessie is the owner of vastra.my friend stiched her trial blouse yesterday and she did a very good job.she takes measurements and stiches .
