hi, am not very familiar with saligramam/vadapalani areas...try padmaram mahal , and vijaya sesha mahal, both in arcot road, ... i'm not able to remember some names, but will try to find out .... but if you also want to include t.nagar in your search,you may want to try Vijaya mahal in pondy bazaar, t.nagar. Krishnaswami kalyana mandapam, south boag road, t.nagar ragavendra kalyana mandapam, kodambakkam the above are all very good and spacious... actually there are a lot more mandapams in t.nagar, so if you plan to include t.nagar in your search, i'll try to suggest more names if you need... it also depends on how much you are willing to spend... the above ones are a bit pricier, but good... chk this website out - onlinehalls.com

We are hoping that it would come arnd 1-1.5L for the mandapam and abt 3-4L for the full service catering contract.. does that sound reasonable to you? and we are open abt the locations too any suggestions welcome m
Hi , your budget seems logical . There are lot of halls near pallavaram n chrompet areas too as you are not particular of the areas. if the amount specifed by you is for the day u can also try Rani meiyammai hall in egmore.
Hi Miyer, I just did my son's upanayanam in chennai at Sri Raghavendra Mandapam #20/21 Singachari Street Triplicane Chennai-600005 Landmark: Near Parthasarathy Kovil Phone: 044-28442152 It was an excellent hall with good air condition and underground parking. I am not sure how many people it will hold. You can enquire about that. Goodluck.
