hi,

Have you ever heard of moore market near central station, once it had too many shops but now only 10-15 exists. Please do check there u can really find awesome collections of various books.

Likewise Quite opposite to egmore station u will find some road side shops selling second hand books.Those also have gud collections but u have to bargain otherwise they will easily cheat u.I suppose it is in front of the vasantabhavan entrance.

Other than this u can find few road side book shops in pondy bazaar, also in T.nagar on the way to saravana stores and mambalam station, but it is not not that easy to peacefully check the collections.

On poonamalle High road near Aminjikarai there are some road side shops too.

Hi Uma:

There's this large road-side shop in Luz near the bus-stop diagonally opposite to Vitan (am not sure if Vitan is there anymore).

You can also shop in Moore market- the complex is near Central Station.

You can always find lots of the used books in all areas.

Also there is a book bank MV. you could try there also.

If you are area specific then maybe we could help. I have picked good Engineering/ finance books for my niece/nephews.

Hi Uma,

You can find GMAT books and all other engineering books in Pycofts road, Triplicane is near Marina beach. ( Gosha's Hospital ). All in reasonable second hand price.
