There is one Dr. Uma in west Mahabalam. I had my delivery from her. I am 100% sure she is a very good doc. I had my delivery in Best hospital Kodambakam , u can check with her phone number and address with the Best hospital.

another point, forgot to add. There is some testing center (adjacent to sharvan bhavan )the Ashoka pillar. You can get Dr. Uma's address from there also. Its 2 long years and currently i am not in chennai so i am not able to give u precise addresses

Congratz. Well, I personally feel whether you are in velachery or in Avadi pls.stick on to one doctor (whom ever, you are comfortable with) many well known doctors will not accept you in the later stage for consultation. To my Knowledge, Dr. Santha of Sundharam Foundation Hospital (SMF) in Anna nagar is very good & ' kai rasi' also but she insist the Patients to see her from the beginning & not during the last phase of pregnancy.

There's also one senior gynaec DR. M.A. Lakshmi of Gunasekaran Nursing Home at Cresent Park road, opposite to TTD(Thirumala thirupathi devasthanam), Venkatnarayana road. She had earlier worked for Women & child hospital, Egmore and had a clinic at W.Mambalam till early 1990.

Another point, Testing center (adjacent to sharvan bhavan )the Ashoka pillar that Sri had mentioned in other post is an Othropeadic Hospital where Dr, Uma comes for consultation during morning sessions.

an excellent gynaec in the Mylapore region is Dr Prema Krishnaswami and Dr Gita Arjun
Prema has her clinic in road leading to Kasturi Ranga Road from the CP Ramaswamy road side, just before Tangerine restaurant. She is pleasant, funny, very professional and takes good care of her patients.
