The magazine has many articles by doctors of the Apollo group of hospitals. The magazine is published once every three months. The latest issue has articles relating to stress. Other than allopathy, ayurveda, siddha and naturopathy are also included.

There is an announcement for a package for heart check. Complete heart check up- haemogram, cardiac tests, lipid profile, liver function tests, general tests, biochemical parameters and the most important is the latest 64 slice CT angio scan. All this for a special charge of Rs.14,000/- only. Our members who are interested can call up the hospital for further information.

And, the Apollo group is opening a special center for women at Kotturpuram. They have packages for various age groups of women. And I understand that the charges are also compatative, cheaper than the Apollo main hospital. Incidentally, Dr.Prithikachary, my son's neurologist, is the brain behind this. The center is being inaugurated on March 8, International Woman's Day. As soon as I get all the details I shall post them.

Hi Sudha,
my son is also hypo thyroid. I was taking him to Dr.Usha Sriram- now she is in US. I was then seeing Dr.Sriram Mahadevan in SMF. I think he is visiting Apollo also. Call them up to know about it.
I am not able to say definetely because they keep changing.
There is Dr.Murthy at T.Nagar, Moosa Street. He is supposed to be the best. Try him.
