praba's v care hairfall treatment-chennai
hi chennaiites,
Dr.praba reddy is running shows in pothigai tv about hair and beauty care every sunday morning. I went to her for hairfall treatment, consultation Rs.100, tricology test Rs.400
They gave the report in 20 min time but the theraphy cost is something highghly unimaginable. Hair care kit for 5-month course+homeopathy medicine comes to Rs.11000.
Has anybody visited her and taken the treatment?
find it effective??
Pls come out if you have any experience with praba's vcare
their clinic is behind naidu hall, raja badar street pondy bazar
bye

Dear Suja,
I too have watched her programme and wondered if it is possible to stp hair fall completely. I do not have much info about that. But you could get advice from a skin specialist.
My friend went to VLCC to enquire about the slimming programme. She was shocked on hearing the fees that she decided that being fat is okay.
Please, I am not discouraging you. But ask about and after confirming, take the treatment.

Re: praba's v care hairfall treatment-chennai
dear rama and varloo,
thanks a lot for yr response
after knowing the theraphy fee i thought i can better check with our indus group whether anybody has positive response for vcare treatment. When I went for consultation they said a lot of NRIs have visited and taken the treatment kit.
The oil they give is natural herbal only and medicine is homeopathy.

Re: praba's v care hairfall treatment-chennai
Dear Suja,
One of my friend's relative has visited the Prabha's V care, but did not get good results, though no negative results. She did not get any side effects too.... but the therapy did not make any difference at all....
So i think its better to use home made pdts. ourselves rather than goin for this therapy.
I also faced a heavy hairfall coz of water change, but now every week i use this:
Warm Gingely oil or Coconut oil -dip a cotton ball and apply it on the scalp gently. do not be harsh as our root hair is already weak.
Allow it for 20 to 30 mins and then use home made shikkai powder to wash.
Or
Mix 2 spoons of mehendi powder+2 tsp of coffee dicotion+2-3 tbsp curd.If u have no issues using egg, u can add it also to the mixture and wash your hair.
Wash it throughly. No need to use shampoo at all.
I am getting very good result for this treatment.
PS: If you are allergic to shikkai/mehendi powder etc..plz avoid!!!

Re: praba's v care hairfall treatment-chennai
Hey Suja,
This is shanaaz hussains method for hair loss.I'm following it n have found good results.i dunno the exact reason for addition of this bevarage dicotion...but...its working for me
!!
Also one more tip,
Its called Hot water towel wrap. Apply oil like i told u in the other post and then have 1/2 a bucket of warm water.Dip a towel fully and squeesze it out.The towel needs to be just warm after squeezing too...Then tie it like a turban till u feel the warmth has gone. Do it for 3 to 4 times and then wash ur hair.
This method is to strenghten hair roots.BUT dunt try in this season if your in blore/chennai/USA....wereever. u may get cold :(

Re: praba's v care hairfall treatment-chennai
I was planning to visit prabha's during my next trip. Thnaks for throwing light on her prices. I will try the home made solution.
Mild shampoos and conditioners will do no harm. Recently a friend who is also on IL suggested me Head and Shoulder Intensive care.
I am afraid US's water makes my hair fall, but I would also like to know if there are possibilities to find good hair care specialists here in US ! I am sure they ll charge high, but just in case if anyone has heard of this, let me know.
Doesn't shikaki make the hair rough ? What do I condition my hair with after shikakai ?
Curd, mehandi, cofffee powder and egg idea was good. Have read it so many times, will try it next , now that you say that it works.
