I am so glad that my niece is engaged to get married in 2012 in Chennai. My cousin wants to celebrate the wedding in Chennai. What do you think of RajniKanth's Wedding Mandapam? Can you give some suggestions, please like Hotels etc. They may have more than 500 guests. Thanks everyone. I need to plan my visit to Madras at the same time. CL :cheers:cheers:cheers:cheers

Hi, I have questions regarding marriage hall. 1. While booking the marriage hall at chennai, do we need to pay full amount at the time of booking ? If so, what is the average amount. 2. Is it possible to cancel the marriage hall? thanks, choodamani
HI, 1, No they will ask advance only while booking balance they will ask later..amount depends on the area(city) 2, Yes you can cancel but they won't give the advance what ever you pay
This is a late response, but in my Chennai experience, the full rent is payable at the time of booking. In case of any change in plans, the cancellation charges are quite exorbitant- from 50% to 100%. In addition, there is also a deposit amount to cover consumables, that is payable a month or so before the date. This amount is adjusted towards costs such as electricity charges, security, garbage removal and so on, and some of it may be returned depending on the actual final bill.
Hi, Anyone knows the Current Rent they charge in Mayor Ramanathan and Raja muthaih halls, Chennai?? Please let me know...
