Tailoring/Alteration Needs? Ask Here!

Hi Ladies,

Can someone suggest me a good place for minor alterations? Most of them around my place are quite expensive. I stay in eastern part of Singapore but do not mind areas close to Li'l India also.

Hi Nikath,

I too live in S'pore. Yes, here tailoring is expensive. But it's better to have a tailor ..for emergency stitching or alterations. I go to 'hari om' tailor in little India. they do a good job. for alteration they charge from $3 - $5 only.
they're located opposite to little India MRT near tekka market. just check it out!

Any good tailors in singapore?

Hello All

We recently moved to Singapore from Europe. I have a lot of shirts which are full sleeved and trousers which are full length, which I really find hard wearing in a hot and humid country like Singapore. There were a necessity in Europe, being a cold country. I dont want to let all those clothes lie in the cupboard, unused. Could anybody suggest a good tailor who could alter those clothes for me? I am looking at making the shirts either half sleeve or sleeveless and the trousers to be shortened?
