So I went through some threads on this forum on the same topic - Indian Gynecologist recommendations in Singapore - but found them to be quite outdated. I checked for Dr Annapoorna Ventkat at NUH - I was told that she is not taking on any new pregnancy cases as she is going to leave the hospital soon. And at KKH I was told that I could get an appointment for Dr Mariamma George ONLY if I confirm that I will deliver at KKH eventually (If I want to deliver in India then I will not be given an appointment with Dr Mariamma). Does anybody have suggestions from recent experience?
Hi meow, welcome me to IL and congrats on your pregnancy I am not so sure about indian gyn drs here in SG. I had my check ups at raffles and my delivery in India. My dr was a Chinese male dr and I had no complaints. If you are unable to find an indian lady gyn, you can consider reputed lady drs of other races also. All the best!
Thank you Akila. Prefer an Indian doc only because they might be able to better understand our (vegetarian) diet and advise accordingly.
