Looking for a good treatment for PCOD, irregular periods and want to conceive.

Hi All,

I need help from this forum. I'm a 26 yrs. old married woman. Currently living at BangaloreI'm overweight my height is 5 foot and 7 inch but weight is 95 KG. My mother and elder sister are also overweight. from last 5 years I'm suffering from Irregular periods and unable to conceive. 3 yrs. back after a test a doctor confirm PCOD too. Periods some moths comes regular and sometime regular. I'm also facing hair fall problem.

I'm taking Homeopathy medicine from last 2.5 years from DR. Batra but no improvement yet.

Can anyone suggest to me a good doctor in JP Nagar or JayaNagar for treatment?

Hi,

I too had the same problem of PCOD and was not able to conceive for 7 years after marriage. All the doctors i visited in Bangalore, suggested the painful process of IUI which has only 8% sucess rate, as told by the doctors. One of our family friend had suggested a doctor in chennai and I had been there for consultation for twice. Both husband and wife are doctors. They were very good. Even though, other doctors suggested IUI for us, this doctor couple suggested some nutritional supplementation and few medication, not hormonal. amazingly i could conceive within 2 months of visiting them. Now I have a healthy baby boy who is now 17 months. Anyway, what iam trying to say is there are lot of people who have PCOD has conceived. so not to worry.

I have kind of experienced similar....First thing Dr. tells you is to reduce weight...the PCOD irregular periods is due to overweight and harmonal imbalances....
