    Hi All,

I would like to know what are the options of nenewing / recharging an Indian Sim card here.

I have an Indian Sim card ( Airtel) and I want to keep my number active so how do I recharge it here.

I had got along with me few recharge vouchers on my way back in Feb 11 and tried doing the recharge in April but it did not work....Dont know what went wrong.

Please help me out with this as i have had this number since a long time and would not like this to go to the recycling system.

    Regards
    Harshada

    Hi Harshada,
Please check the validity of your SIM card. If this for life you need not to recharge it unless the balance go below zero. Also you need to make sure you use your SIM once a year to keep it active even though its for life.
As long as you have the minimum credit in your account you can still recieve the text messages from India.
For Recharge apart from VidyaPrasad Suggestion you can do it from your Axis bank,ICICI bank accounts.

    Thanks
