Parents taunt

Why do parents bully kids, if they do not have a job/no kids/unsuccessful ,and keep comparing the kids with others kids . Why do parents have children if its a business deal, I brought you up, now pay for my retirement. We brought you up with sweat and blood and you sit at home. I understand kids have responsibilities towards parents and should do it, but the taunts and emotional harassment that comes with it really hurtful.

I also understand that parents are saaying it for the good of the kid, but I believe the kid hears it another way as parents are bullying.
