Sibling jealousy

I have 1 year girl baby and 6 years son, Son is very jealous of the sister. Always he tries to beat her or make her fall Or thinks we all love her more than him. Please anybody give solution to handle this.

start telling him she is his, and the little sis will always long for the brother, you are taking care because she is still a baby and he would also enjoy if he also takes care of her, start telling like when she grows she would say anna take me to this place anna get me clothes and she will never be able to go out without you, and that can be achieved only if you take care of her now...sunkan

I second sunkan.
Also , you can pet the elder one every now & then in front on the younger one.
You can ask the elder one to do small tasks for the younger one, like bringing her clothes & you can appreciate him for those too.
Moreover, when you have guests, you can just like that appreciate him, that he helps in taking care of the baby, etc.
It will make him feel more important.

Always tell him that she is his sister. She is very happy to play with you. Tell him that it is only you being elder must guide your sister and teach her all. She doent know anything. Your are the role model for her. These types of words will make him to take care of her and play together. Always appreciate him for all of his work. Keep doing this forever. This create a strong relation between them.
