Hi Friends,
Could anybody tell me how to make the stencil they use to do screen printing ? I know there are experts here, please take time to reply.

Also, what sort of paints can we use if we want to try printing on cloth using stencils/screens ? Can we use regular fabric paints?

Hi vidhya,
The making of screens involves a process by which you get the design printed on a transparent stencil sheet. Then apply a special light sensitive ink on the muslin cloth mounted on a square frame. Expose the screen with the stencil under it to light..... etc
The whole process of screen printing is taught regularly at Archana academy in two days. If you can stay in chennai or find out if they conduct classes at ur place then you can learn the whole process first hand. They also have a1/2 hr program on Saturdays at 10.30 in win tv.
