    Hi ladies
here i would like to share with u what i know about silk painting.
Silk painting u can do on satin silk and semi silk material.
U can never use a stencil to do silk painting. The paint will spread easily.
There is a medium called gutta. U can get in different colors. Like that of glass out liners.
U needto first trace the design.then stretch it by using frame. Then apply gutta on the outline. Let it dry thoroughly.
Then from the middle start the painting. U need to do silk painting fast it will dry fast. And also it spreads fast. So always start from the middle.
Then let it dry for some hrs and then was off the gutta.
Hope this is clear to you.
For any doubt feel free to ask me
    regards

there is no particular name for semi silk.there are some sarees available in shop. u can ask for semi silk saree. its not 100% silk.
shading u can mix 2 colours together on the materil it self. but it must be fast.otherwise it will dry and seperation can be seen.
    hope its clear.
    regards
