Dear Sujata,Iam writing this because iam interested in tanjore painting and have done 5 paintings not fully traditional , alittl bit simplified. since i am new to the site I could not see your paintings , butI am sure they are fantastic and I also want to know where can I get pure gold leaf in Bangalore and what is the price?Will you please help me.and two of my paintins are in my picasa album and I don't know how to post in this site .

Those are really perfect paintings. I just finished my second tanjore painting today(after a gap of 10 yrs) & mighty pleased with my work. hence I can see how beautiful your work is. The cone work has come out very well. How long have you been doing it? Don't you line the cone work with black pen to hilite (althou it doesn't seem necessary)?

Wow,.Wow, they are so beautiful Sujata I am really happy to say that I got the oppotunity to see them .and at the same time I am a bit embarrassed to say that mine are Tanjore paintings. Iam 60 years and I learnt it last year through a lady in my native place within 8 days because iI did not have time , so my paintings shows the half knowledge. I want to improve and I have undergone bypass surgery and my children are away , so I do pass my time in hobbies which I could not do before. Will you tell me how to post the paintings . though they are not quality prroducts I want to know the flaws and get the advice So please help me. and thanks againfand I also really bow to your mastery over the art.
