Happy to announce this month forum contest as
“Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi through Creative ideas”, Portray Your Ganesha through Your Creativity.

Lord Ganesha, the Messenger of Good Lucks, The Bestower of Intellect and Wisdom, Lord of Beginnings and Remover of Obstacles, India’s Iconic celebrity waiting for this year’s gusto Celebration.

While the whole country is busy in getting ready – with Giant/Mini clay modeling, practicing bhajans, searching for scrumptious recipes of Mothak,laddus,busy noises everywhere. Why not we BRING some different HUES to this year celebration SILENTLY!!!!

Essence of festival is to Celebrate.

Would there be a better way, to show your devotion towards this Master God through your creative hands and minds!!!!
So lets Fete. Bestow an artistic/creative honor to this Lambodara – pot-bellied Lord, the only HERO who has fascinating, cosmic forms adored in 32 different postures in all colors, hence an Artist’s/Creative hands first and best choice.

If you have passion for art, have proficiency in creativeness, then this is for YOU.

How to Participate:

• Make/Draw/Paint a picture/portray of Lord Ganesha using your creativity.
  You can use anything that’s available around you,(like Beads,Stones,Leaves,Sand,Matchsticks,Pulses,Grains Sequins,Clay Dough,Paper etc.) and you can use any medium (like Glass, Wooden board,Paper,Canvas,Fabric,OHB sheet etc,)
• Its basically important how innovatively you represent your picture of Ganesha!!!!
• Add a line or two on “why you adore Him” with your creation.
• Upload it here!!!!

Best creative entry wins the prize.

with the Subject line as: Entry for Ganpati contest 2013.

With the attachment, please mention your IL username and a line or two on "Why you adore Lord Ganesha" as per the contest requirement.

Also, please confirm by making a post in this thread, that you have send the attachment/image at IL contest mail, so that we can attach your entry here]

Contest starts today –2nd September 2013 and ends on 19th September 2013

• Only ONE entry/Post is allowed.
• Entries should be posted only in this thread as an attachment for it to qualify for the contest.
• Avoid giving links to threads or personal albums.Use attachment option.
• Avoid direct copy-pasting from external source.
• Avoid using the printouts from the internet or any source to show your crafty talents.
• Do not post pictures with Facebook,Personal blog water marks.
• Do not post Contact Information and External album links.

Dear Participants,
Please try to upload minimum size Photos with little closer view (covering whole of your work,like the one below) for better judgement

You can use wedding card as base/scrap,but not the Ganesha photo/ Ganesha design cutout from the card to work on.
In case of craft,the only criteria is you have to draw your own freehand outline and work on it or bring out the shape by your own using any material.
