Great to know that you met two great kitchen queens of IL! That should have been a memorable experience for you! Missed meeting you this year. Myself n Shanthi ma'am were really waiting to receive a call from you to hear your arrival to our place.

so you met the Queens of our IL, almost back to back! Nice to see you in the Faces... thread. You could have planned earlier so many of us could have met at Chennai when you came over. Better luck next time.
It is nice to know that Krishanmma helped you out in settling in a new place.

And with Krishnamma, haven't clicked yet.....she wants to avoid putting hers here....will try to convince her and put it...we will be having many more meetings no..

Thanx for stepping in here.

I am indeed fortunate to be in such elite company. Meeting both the kitchen experts has left a lasting impression on me.

Yes, Krishnamma and Kitchuppa were really sweet to extend their helping hand to us.
Though we could not settle is an accomodation that we all went together and saw, they did continuously give their inputs and we always felt free to speak to them about it.
I told my DH, no matter where we go...even to remote timbaktoo islands there will be an ILite...I will have no problem regarding friends.

We have not done so much yar. we all went for house hunt one day and mostly we contacted people over phone. that is all. we gave them moral support that is all.

I too want to meet you all in my next visit. Let us see. for stepping in.

What I did in India????? Heee heee ..... had lots of fun,meeting all our relatives in different places in Tamil Nadu, meeting our Kitchen queen, and got to attend the wedding of my cousin..
