IL Directory Submissions - Which Charity Should Benefit?

When we announced the IL Directory of Ratings and Reviews, we also announced that for a limited time, for every entity that you rate and review in the IL Directory, Indusladies.com will donate Rs.10 to a charity that the majority decides on. As an initial goal, we wanted to hit 250 entries and Indusladies.com will donate Rs.2500.

This is the the thread for you to share which chartiy should be the beneficiary of this scheme. Please post your recommendations in this thread by clicking on "Post Reply" at the bottom left of this page.

The charity should be..

1. India Based
2. Should focus on Women/Child Issues
3. Should be able to come online and acknowledge receipt of funds.

That is a wonderful thought.

I would suggest that the money should go to old age homes and they should acknowledge recipt of the money. The funds will definitely go for their medical treatment. That is my suggestion.

i feel contribution shld go to India based......chairty focusing on Women/child issues and those funds shld be utilised for educating the kids and to the women to educte them to set up their own business in small scale........to lead their life by themselves.......

i feel 'educating the kid" is educating the entire society..............and if women earns by her own .she will support the entire family in proper way........and it improves her self confidence to achieve more.........
