Saying twice(English words)

Hi all..
There are several pairs of rhyming words that have come into the language with the job of emphasising and strengthening the meaning of one of the words.
I have put the meaning in brackets().

1.Hob nob(socialise)
2.Fuddy duddy(Uninteresting)
3.Hoity toity(supercilious)
4.Big wigs(important people)
5.hey day(at his most successful time)
6.Kow tow(accept without question)
7.bee's knees (someone to admire)
8.a des res(very attractive house)
9.fat cat (wealthy business man)
10.hocus pocus(nonsense).

Now I posted only 10 words, later on I will post some more words.
