I can understand tamil.
But I can't understand official & poetical terminolozy of tamil.

Hi Bhargavi,
Thanku for ur appreciation posting.

Here i am giving some Colour Idioms.
An Idiom is a fixed expression with a certain meaning.

1.Blue in the face
ex: I pointed out till I was blue in the face — almost going out of my mind.

2..white falg- to surrender
ex: At the end I decided to show white flag.

3.green ---rather inexperienced
I'm a bit green — rather inexperienced, about buying cars.

4.red carpet--.preferential treatment
The manager rolled out the red carpet — gave me preferential treatment, when he saw me coming.

5..red-pencilled — censored

Now i gave only 5 later on i will post more..,

hob nob (socialise)
big wigs (important people)
bee's knees (someone to admire)
hocus pocus (nonsense)
dream team (ideal partners)
brain drain (talented people leaving their own country to work for better pay in another).
